Freight cars stretch across a dry rail yard beneath distant mountains. Industrial forms sit against open sky, their surfaces worn and sun faded. Within the narrow frame of the rearview mirror, the landscape compresses into a single horizontal band, holding both expanse and confinement at once. The reclaimed metal arm and housing retain signs of age and use, grounding the photographic image in material history. The work invites the viewer to consider distance, transit, and what remains in peripheral vision.
